A multicultural evening of peace building, artistic expression, community engagement, and good food.
The Centre for Peace and Performing Arts (CPPA) and Arciliuto launched the first installment of Rome’s Artists for Peace Network. Interpretations of peace through art and personal stories were shared with an international community. Art enthusiasts, students, painters, dancers, sculptors, actors, poets and musicians gathered together and brought their talents and passions.
This evening of networking and artistic expression provided 20€ passes that included an aperitivo formula, access to featured performances, a photography installation viewing, and a live painter.
A facilitated, open discussion on peace and the arts took place at intermission. An open mic session took place after the performances and discussion, where artists signed up and shared their talent with their peers in attendance.
A photography installation reflecting on peace themes was available at the entrance of the club. There was a live painter completing a piece of art throughout the event.
